017 - [Action/Voice]

[There's a body lying on the edge of the riverbank. Slowly, her hand moves and claws at the ground, causing her finger marks to mold into the mud. Just as slowly, she manages to push herself up to a sitting position, and then she's got her hand to her head.]

Ow, my head...

[She looks up at him with a confused look on her face, but not because of what he's asking her.]

Yeah, I'm okay...but Jr, do you hear any drums?

[She closes her eyes for a moment as if in concentration before opening them again and standing up.]

*He stands up from his slight crouch* You sure you're okay?

Yeah, I'm fine.

[She puts on a smile to prove it before walking over to stand in front of Jr.]

I suppose I'm just hearing strange things. Nothing to worry about. I'm sure it'll go away in time. You ready to head back?

*He keeps his thoughts off his face from years of practice and nods*

[She starts walking in the direction of town.]

Well, you coming?

[In all honesty, she seems no different from the usual Jenny.]

Of course! *He jogs after, taking about a step and a half for each of her steps. It's impossible to tell looking at him that he's nervous about this whole hearing things bit.*

[She slows her pace so he can keep up easier. She's in no rush.]

I think this is going to be more of an annoyance then anything.

[She seems as if she's talking to both him, and herself.]

[She puts a hand to where her knife should be, realizing it's not there.]

Damn! My knife. I must have dropped it. Jr, can you help me look really quick. I really don't want to have to get another one.

[She obviously looks upset to have lost it.]

*He nods, knowing what it feels like to lose a weapon that was special to you* Sure.

*He turns around and starts searching around the path they took*

[She lets a few seconds go by as she looks around, keeping a fair distance behind Jr. And then, as stealthy as a ninja, pulls a knife out of her boot, and plunges it into his back, avoiding his internal organs for now. She's just looking for the pain. Of course, her usual bright smile doesn't change at all as she does so.]

*He stumbles forward, mostly from surprise as a knife wound avoiding any organs wouldn't be much more than an annoyance to a URTV and he turns around* J-Jenny? What the Hell was that for?!

Though I expected that wouldn't have much of an effect on you. Still, it was kind of fun all the same.

*He clenches one fist, slowly reaching back before pulling the knife out of his back without so much as wincing.* So I'm just an annoyance to you? Has that been the case all along?

Well, not all along. I honestly did like you. But you see, the drums ask for blood, and I don't have a choice but to give it to them.

Besides, I think it's a bit fun.

[She pulls a knife out from her sleeve. The same one that was usually attached to her belt, and spins it around between her fingers.]

You... *His hands start to tremble and a thin, red aura forms around him as his temper flares up* Why does this always happen to me?

[Jenny stands there calmly, not really bothered by it. Though she can sense the power coming off of him.]

Oh, honestly, if I had wanted to, I'm sure I could have done worse to you then that. Really though, I even avoided your internal organs.
