017 - [Action/Voice]

[There's a body lying on the edge of the riverbank. Slowly, her hand moves and claws at the ground, causing her finger marks to mold into the mud. Just as slowly, she manages to push herself up to a sitting position, and then she's got her hand to her head.]

Ow, my head...

[She smirks.]

You think you can kill me? I'd love to see you try.

[Her stance changes slightly to one that's prepared for whatever he's going to throw at her.]

*Which is why he's gonna try something unexpected. He swings his arm down diagonally* Ether Drive! *A little bit of will to go with that motion and phrase and he calls a bunch of ice crystals into being right where Jenny is standing.*

[She'll be doing a quick backwards flip just before the ice appears so she can avoid it. Him saying Ether drive was a good hint for to move quickly.]

Ether drive! *He repeats the arm motion and raceway style arrows appear in a circle around him, racing around briefly before vanishing as he takes off at much higher speed than normal, jumping up to try and get a point blank shot to one of her limbs.*

[And she can't see him now, but she can still sense him, so she'll be moving fast, jumping to grab a branch above her, she'll be stealthily climbing that tree faster then anyone should be able to, managing to blend into it at the same time. She's using it for cover.]

I guess I don't have a choice now... *He put the gun back in its holster and the red aura around him became much thicker before starting to lift away from him. He crouched down, looking as though he was in pain and shouted as the aura exploded into a wide dome of energy.

[Ouch, that hit, and Jenny is out of that tree and in the open as she manages to mostly break her fall by doing another back flip onto her feet. It's easy to tell that that attack left Jenny a little worn.]

Hyah! *He draws his gun again and fires as soon as he whips it up, just barely managing to remember to aim for a nonvital spot. The side of him that craved battle was starting to take over and he was starting to have fun with this...*

[She moves quickly to avoid the bullets, but one of the manages to hit her upper arm, and there's a definite crack when it does as the bone breaks, but there's no reaction to truly indicate that there's any pain.]

You broke my arm.

[For once, Jenny sounded a bit annoyed at that concept before she used her other hand to dig into her own injured arm, and pull out the bullet with her fingers alone. She then forced the bone back into it's proper black, ignoring the fact that there were probably shard of the bone missing.]

*Well, he's not just gonna stand there while she tends to the wound. He's gonna dash up with his still boosted speed and go for a kick. If that lands, he'll send several bullets into her, doing his best to avoid vital spots while he still has the self control.*

[She uses her good arm to block his kick, before flipping backwards again and sending a kick of her own towards his head.]

*He jumps impossibly high, levitating to get above her, and fires down as she passes through where he was.*

[The shots just barely miss her as she rights herself up, and pulls another hidden knife out of her sleeve. Just as quickly, she threw it at him, aiming towards another vital point.]

*He fires off one shot at the knife with perfect aim, still in the air, then pulls a handfull of coins out of a pocket and tosses them out so that they fall around Jenny and fired into the cloud of coins so that the bullets bounced and came at her from almost every angle* Storm Waltz!

[She manages to avoid most of them, using her speed and limber body to move around each bullet, but a few still manage to hit her. One hitting her in the back of her left shoulder, and another hitting her right upper leg, causing her movements to slow and another bullet managing to penetrate only an inch from her right heart. Despite the hits, she's still managing to stand when the attacks over, though, with great strain.]

*He lands and points his gun at Jenny* Don't make me fire again.

[She just grins at his words as if they're some sort of joke, before pulling out and throwing yet another hidden knife, this one aiming toward his heart.]

*He sighs and fires off two shots: One for the knife and one for her left heart.*

[And there's a direct hit to her heart this time, and before she knows it she's falling over, and hitting the ground, her breathing becomes strained as her body attempts to hold onto life for as long as possible.]

*He lets his arm drop, putting his gun away as he does so. He knows even killing her would only take her out temporarily, though, so he walks over and kneels down next to her, keeping his hand next to his gun just in case, and checks to make sure she's not in any condition to go anywhere.*

[She's got too much blood loss, and is in too much pain to go anywhere.]

...I've...been shot again...huh?

[Her voice is weak, and pained as she speaks, but there's a definite smile on her face anyway.]

...Take care...of my body...okay?

J-Jenny? Not again...why do they always...come back to themselves...to die?

'Yeah...guess we should get her tied up, just in case, huh?'

*And so he does, probably having to make ample use of his levitation to get her back into the village.*
