Well, I suppose I'm another year older now. To think it's been two years. Hard to believe it's been that long since that first day I stepped out of the progenation machine.
But enough about- [She cuts off as the sounds of footprints interrupt her, and then obviously starts speaking to someone in the room.]
Oh, not you guys again! Do you honestly believe that I'm going to go any easier on you then before? [This is followed by the sounds of a fight and finally someone crashing into something hard before the journal cuts off.]
[[ooc: Housemates, be prepared to see one hell of a mess in the house, including a few daggers in the walls and a completely broken kitchen table. There's also a couple little blood stains on the floor and wall, but nothing indicating a serious injury.]]

...
[Sees all the carnage.]
...
[Can totally tell something happened with Jenny...again.]
...
[...God damn it.]
She'd better not be-
[And he runs out of the house.]

[action]
They'll give her back, right?
[action]
[action]
[And yes, that's pointed. In a "I still don't forgive you for wanting to let the Master torture you" way.]
[action]
[action] HIJACKING YOUR POST OUT OF LURVE, JENNEH
Probably. Well, perhaps a little less given, well, a variety of reasons. One of them being I don't actually have to be concerned over your life itself. But I suppose there's still a level of sympathy for suffering through the inflictions of pain. Hm.
[action] It was just so easy to hijack!
[action]
[And now Jack gets a look with a brow raised.]
[action]
[action]
You're probably right. Just hope they let her go soon. That way I can undo any sort of damage they might inflict. Or, well, at least try. You're lucky, in a way. I suppose. You seem to have an automatic 'reset button' when you come back.
[action]
[action]
[action]
And my scars aren't on my body, Doctor, but we won't talk about that...
[action]
But...I can't help but wonder. [He glances up at the sky for a moment before shifting his gaze so he can look at Jack peripherally.] If by chance, I were to die here. What would happen? Would I regenerate? Or would I come back, just like this? I do rather like this body, don't get me wrong. However, I'm not sure how this place's special properties would apply to my particular anatomy. It's obvious they have little troubles with genetic modifications. [Hello, wings. He's gotten so used to you sometimes he forgets you're even there. Except when something hurts you. Then he remembers and doesn't appreciate your existence.]
So many questions, yet so little answers. If I didn't have so much control all this might have driven me mad a long time ago. Perhaps I should be glad to have so many distractions. [Cue meaningful look aimed in Jack's direction. Doctor, you are kind of an asshole. Be nice. Jack's a bit more than a 'distraction' and you know it. Or else certain things might not have happened.]
[action]
Distractions, huh? [Now he does reach out and slide his hand up the Doctor's arm again.] I'm pretty good at that.
[action]
However...
[The Doctor slows even more so, turning slightly on his heel. They've reached the river and he really wasn't intending on going to any particular place one he calmed down and got over the immediate sense of alarm at Jenny going missing. He doesn't like this waiting business. But he's had to wait for things before. Jenny already came back from death, perhaps being taken intently by the Malnosso wouldn't be all that different. He reaches up to take Jack's hand and none too gently jerks it away, then steps out in front of him. Now he's walking backwards, keeping his gaze locked on Jack with his hands back in his pockets.]
You're right about that. You do know how to distract. [Smirks with both brows arches.] Probably better than you should. I'll have to keep a better eye on you, Captain. Talents like that could get you in even more trouble.
[action]
[action]
Yes. Well. You needed the distracting. You were going to lose your head with worry otherwise. Besides, I don't think you minded it. And if you did, it certainly took you an awfully long while to complain.
[action]
Never said I minded it. [Back in your personal space now, Doctor.] And speaking of worry... I think we're both worried right now.
[action]
[The Doctor keeps walking backwards but folds his arms casually behind his head. This time he makes no move to push him away.] Why, what are you so worried for, Captain?
[action]
[Jack keeps pace with the Doctor, watching to make sure he's not going to walk backwards into anything.]
[action]
[And his heel manages to catch on a rock. Cue him stumbling awkwardly and falling forward.]
[action]
[action]
[Continues to stare.]
...I suppose... Captain... That it might be my turn to be distracted. Probably.
[action]
[action]
There is something oddly familiar about this...
[He laughs softly and looks around. They're a bit into the forest now, surrounded by trees. After thinking for a minute he realizes they are near the area where they first kissed since arriving here. He flashes Jack a smirk and backs up against a nearby tree, his wings flattening to accommodate. The look he gives Jack then is one that clearly reads 'Feel familiar at all?' in a rather cheeky sort of way.]
[action]
Yeah, it is familiar, isn't it?
[Tilting his head, he dives back in for another kiss, this one harder, more demanding, as his knee nudges between the Doctor's legs.]
[action]
You... [He has to stop and think where he was going with that. Then he remembers and gives him a playful smack on the shoulder and his best pouty-face.] You are insufferable. You know that?
Been trying to convince myself that I don't want it, don't need it, that I'm above all that... [His expression turns somber for a moment.] Especially now, with all that keeps going on. I wonder sometimes, is this normal? Well, not that I've ever been normal - well, not at least the actual definition of it, well, I guess perhaps I might be normal for a renegade Time Lord - anyway, that's not the point. My point is I'm here, you're here, and we're doing things. Things that happen to be a whole lot more than dancing - when I still haven't figured a way out of this place yet - and now I can at least hope the Master will come 'round and help but if not then it might all fall on me and it's rather difficult to concentrate with you so bloody close all the time...
...And I can't- [Sigh.] I can't [growl] resist you anymore.
[And after that mouthful of word vomit he kisses Jack viciously.]
[action]
[action]
[action] D-don't mind the porn, Jenny
Doctor... mmm...
[The next few moments pass in a frantic haze, heat and friction and sweat merged, lips and tongues meeting-clashing, long fingers delving past fabric and zippers to grip and stroke, harder, faster, quick quick more now oh and then it's all over leaving them panting and sticky and thoroughly distracted.]
[action] /loling FOREVER
There are a lot of words I want to say to you right now, but bugger all I can't think of a single one. Blimey.
[Yes, Jack, the Doctor is very much sated now and you are being looked at like you are the fifth most wonderful thing in the universe right now - below the TARDIS, his screwdriver, Jenny,
the Master- which will probably be a look you may not see all that often so you'd better take advantage of it. You are a damn good distraction, Captain Harkness. He kind of wants to kill you for it.][action]
That's okay, Doctor. You talk too much, anyway.
[He gives him a teasing wink and takes his hand.] Back to the house?
[action]
Suppose so. [Gives his hand a squeeze and grins.] Off we go, then. Allons-y!
