You know, with all these people about, I've got this odd feeling that this has all happened before, but I can't quite remember it. How strange.

But hello everyone!

[Jenny is hanging out outside of house #16, picking up a mess of glass that a certain someone caused via going through the window. Why do people have to keep destroying the house?]

[You know, he reminds her of a certain someone.]

Well, if you want to hear about my life, I suppose I should start from the fact that I was created from a progenation machine on the planet Messaline. Let me see, the date was 60120724 if you go by the new byzantine calender. Though I'd imagine you wouldn't know anything about those things. Other then dad, I haven't run into anybody who's familiar with all that yet.

[Gee, really? I couldn't imagine why.]

The New Byzantine Calender? Oh, I know that! Granted, I've only heard of it, as a surprising amount of the universe uses the Gregorian calender still-can you believe that? And a progenation machine...that's another thing that I've only heard about. How does it work?

[She'll figure it out eventually.]

Quite simply, it takes a skin sample and grows a new person based off of that sample. It also implants knowledge and makes us grow quite quickly. It only takes a few seconds really.

[Especially since Captain Oblivious here will probably say something completely stupid and Doctor-ish.]

Fascinating...when is this developed? It definitely has to be past the 20th century in whenever you are from.

[identity profile] mydadsthedoctor.livejournal.com 2009-12-19 06:31 am (UTC)(link)
[Of course he will. It's the Doctor.]

Not sure when the technology was developed, but I'm from the early 61st century.

[identity profile] doctor-scarf.livejournal.com 2009-12-19 06:35 am (UTC)(link)
Brilliant! That's a wonderful century! At least, the bits that I've seen are wonderful.

[identity profile] mydadsthedoctor.livejournal.com 2009-12-19 06:42 am (UTC)(link)
Oh? Never been to Messa though?

[identity profile] doctor-scarf.livejournal.com 2009-12-19 05:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Not yet. I'd love to go though. Maybe if the TARDIS finally starts working properly then I can pop in for a visit. Of course, it not working properly is just as fun.

[identity profile] mydadsthedoctor.livejournal.com 2009-12-19 05:43 pm (UTC)(link)
[HOLD IT! Did he just say TARDIS?!]

Wait a minute! TARDIS? ...What's your name?

[identity profile] mydadsthedoctor.livejournal.com 2009-12-19 11:00 pm (UTC)(link)
You can't be. You don't look anything like him.

[identity profile] doctor-scarf.livejournal.com 2009-12-19 11:17 pm (UTC)(link)
But I am him. There's only one Doctor and that's me.

[identity profile] mydadsthedoctor.livejournal.com 2009-12-19 11:47 pm (UTC)(link)
That's not possible. I know the Doctor and he doesn't look anything like you.

[identity profile] doctor-scarf.livejournal.com 2009-12-20 01:04 am (UTC)(link)
It's possible that you met a future regeneration. Did I explain that?

[identity profile] mydadsthedoctor.livejournal.com 2009-12-20 01:19 am (UTC)(link)
I never thought of that possibility, though it certainly would explain quite a bit. So that would make you one of dad's previous regenerations then?

1/2

[identity profile] doctor-scarf.livejournal.com 2009-12-20 04:36 am (UTC)(link)
Quite possibly. I'm the fourth body.

2/2

[identity profile] doctor-scarf.livejournal.com 2009-12-20 04:36 am (UTC)(link)
[Wait, what did she say?]

Your dad?!

[identity profile] mydadsthedoctor.livejournal.com 2009-12-20 04:52 am (UTC)(link)
Well, yeah. I was progenated from the Doctor's skin sample so that technically makes him my dad.

[identity profile] doctor-scarf.livejournal.com 2009-12-20 05:32 am (UTC)(link)
That's better. After all, he's your father only by a technicality.

[identity profile] mydadsthedoctor.livejournal.com 2009-12-20 07:46 am (UTC)(link)
Technicality or not, he's still my dad.

[identity profile] doctor-scarf.livejournal.com 2009-12-21 12:37 am (UTC)(link)
Correct. I guess so.
