[Jenny is sitting on the steps of house 36, and is looking at a letter very intently and with one of her most serious expressions on her face. After a moment, she puts the letter down and picks up her journal, writing what looks to be a very brief message in it before putting it back down beside her and looking at the letter again, her expression not changing for even a second as she reads it over and over again. Please feel free to interrupt her.]

[She hands him the letter.] The Malnosso are up to something again.

Yeah, I thought the same thing. But the big questions is why would they do this? It doesn't make sense for them to set up something like this.

There are going to be at least a few people who fall for this you know. People that are eager to get home then us.

No kidding. I think we should go check out this gate when it comes about though. Not go through it, but it would hurt to just take a look. Perhaps we can find something else out.

I doubt it'll actually kill anybody, but I think we oughta try to talk to some people and make sure they know it's probably an experiment.

Reading that letter has only made me want to get out of here even more. I can't stand just staying in one place for this long. It's going to make go crazy.

I want to see the Elsa, and so many other things someday. And I want to see how Messa turned out too. The terraforming process was still in progress when I left. It was still making the world habitable. I wonder if the radiation is gone now, and if Cline and the others can stand on the surface.

It's odd, I think I'm starting to get a bit homesick.

[Kouichi was walking aimlessly around, just enjoying the snow and still not having the chance to see the letter. Seeing Jenny though, he frowns when he notices the serious expression and walks over.]

You could say that I suppose, seeing as the Malnosso are up to something.

[Taking the letter, he quickly skims through the message, trying to deciphe--- oh.]

Sounds fishy, all right. What do you think they're planning with this?

[She shakes her head.] I don't know, but one thing I can say is that I'm sure that nobody who walks through that gate is going to be sent home.

It's either them or someone related to them, I think. But unless the person who wrote these letters shows themselves, it's hard to say for sure. But...this is the time of month when an experiment usually comes about, so I think it's a good possibility.

Then we should be warning people not to listen to the letters, shouldn't we?
