[There's the load cry of some predator type bird through the journal, and some flapping of wings.]

Easy, you'll hurt yourself more if you keep that up. Just let me finish wrapping it...and there! All done. Now just take it easy until it heals.

[There's another cry, though obviously nobody can understand what the bird is saying through the journal. Still, Jenny responds.]

It'll probably take quite a few weeks, so you'll just have to manage for now.

[And then there's some barking, bird crying, and flapping all mixed together.]

Alby! I've already told you, leave him alone.

[Anyone outside of house 36 will probably notice that the bird was in fact a falcon, whose wing is currently wrapped. Obviously, it has a broken wing.]

It's a falcon. I found him over by the base of the mountains with a broken wing.

Yeah, the bones weren't shattered or anything, so I was able to just move them back into place, as well as splint and bandage it. It should heal fine providing he doesn't move it too much, but he's agreed to bear with it for awhile.

[Goes back to talking to Ru after breaking the both the falcon and Alby up.]

Well, the falcon keeps insulting Alby if that means anything to you. But then again, Alby didn't really help when he was trying to play with him.

[She's obviously yelling at the bird this time, as there's a definite start of a screech before it's cut off.]

Well, to give Alby some credit, he's not really used to having a bird in the house, and he is quite energetic.

[Yeah, Duo's used to that look and a lot of others like it. He leans forward to look at her pretty blue eyes.] Yep, still there and still pretty. Now, what's this animal trouble you're havin' and should I call Dieb in or would she just make it worse?

[She stands to side so he can come in. Of course, he'll spot probably see the homemade perch over in the corner of the living room, the falcon sitting atop it. And hold it, did it just glare at him?]

[Duo does step in and he'll look around. At least a bird of prey shouldn't be scared of a human who smells like blood and death. It wont' be like Duo trying to charm a rabbit or something else. He's not going to walk too close to it, but he'll be in the room and close enough when he talks to the bird.]
