037 - [Action]

[Oh look, Jenny's sitting on the step in front of house 36, and she's very carefully sharpening the blades of her daggers. Of course, since she can't see them for the moment, she'll be lightly touching the edge every once in awhile to check on how much more sharpening needs to be done on each dagger. Please feel free to talk to her if you want, though keep in mind that anyone who knows her might notice that she'll be following orders for once.]

[Oh hey. That catches Johnny's attention and he ambles over.] You use daggers?

[Well, she doesn't recognize that voice, but hey, she's always up for meeting someone new.]

Around here I do. They're lighter and good for long distance if needed.

Long distance...so you use 'em as throwing knives too?

Of course. It's a good thing to learn to do if you're going to be carrying them around.

[He has his own dagger, which he takes out to look at as he idly crouches down.] Guess I never really thought about it. Fighting monsters just made it seem like a good way to lose the blade.

Well, you don't lose them as long as you keep track of where they're going and make sure to pick them up. Whether it be while you're fighting or afterwards, depends on the situation.

Yeah, it makes sense.
