[Jenny's back and she's awoken over by the mountains. She sits up so she can lean against the tree next to, but that's the extent of her movement as she looks out into the distance, or at least seems to.]

Could someone give me a hand getting back to my house? I think I might need it.

...Sorry. The Malnosso have...put a lot of languages in my head. It's difficult to sort them out.

[Well, she's got the normal language down again, but not guarantees it won't happen again.]

[He sounds a little less than pleased about this development.] ...my grandparents are French.

Is something wrong with that?

...Grandparents on my mom's side. [He's not sure if he's explained the whole "my parents are divorced and I don't really like it" situation. ...We don't really talk about ourselves to many people.] I mean it's... not bad, I guess, I'm a fourth French anyway so I guess I should know the language, but it's... ...Not really something I'm excited about?

Do you not get along with your mum or something?

...Not really. She divorced my dad when I was eight and it all kind of sucked.

Married people-- adults that... love each other get some kind of legal bond that makes them related, kindasorta, and... I guess you could say mom and dad stopped loving each other so they got the paperwork nullified.

Perhaps that was for the best that that happened though. If they really stopped loving each other I mean.

Guess it's just hard to get since we're kids. ...you, and me and my brother.

Well-- I didn't mean that, but you're young. Plus I dunno if that stuff happened where you're from.

My planet was a war zone where there were hundreds of deaths each hour. There wasn't really much time for things like that.
