026 - [Action/Accidental Voice]

[Anyone around the edge of the woods will probably see Jenny sitting against a tree trunk. Her eyes are closed and she's humming a somewhat pretty, but mysterious tune. Anyone listening through the journals will no doubt hear her humming. Feel free to interrupt her since she's neither paying attention to her surroundings, nor is she aware that her journal is recording.]

Yep. Gotta admit, walking seems to be the highlight of this place. Well, the good highlight. I imagine the bad highlight is all these kidnappings I hear about.

Well, we could always spar a bit. That's always fun.

And I think the experiments can be a slightly worse highlight then the kidnappings.

Haven't been here for any of these "experiments" yet. And I really can't say I'm looking forward to them, either.

Some are worse they others, but they're not all totally bad. Some are actually quite fun.

Fun? Fun like how?

[She seems entirely wary. She's dealt with wacky magic side-effects in the past and things rarely turned out to be either rare or harmless.]

Well, let's see...the experiment back during Christmas wasn't so bad. Though I'm not sure if that could really be considered an experiment.

There were gifts?

[identity profile] mydadsthedoctor.livejournal.com 2009-05-19 06:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah. Everyone got something. Though they were all items that had to do with the person. Still, it was nice, and some people even got pets.

I don't know. A few puppies at Christmas time does not a friendly scientist make.

I never said they were friendly. I just said that the experiments aren't always bad.

I suspect the reasons are probably always bad, if not the experiments themselves.

Probably, but there's not much we can do about it right now.

Has anyone tried to fight back?

Everyone has, but right now, there's not much we can do without coming up with a plan, and honestly, that's a bit hard to do if we don't know anything about their technology and such.
