[Anyone out near the edge of the woods will find Jenny throwing her knives at a tree. Her usual smiling face has been replaced by a more serious one for once as if something is on her mind, and instead of practicing, she seems to be taking everything out on the tree she's throwing her knives at. Go ahead, feel free to poke her.]

True. 'least you're usin' weapons and not your hands. Ru might be jealous if he comes back and knows I was holdin' your hands while fixin' ya up. [He walks over to the tree before pulling out his knife. It was a gift from Yuffie and looks like a cross.]

I'm not stupid enough to injure myself because I'm upset. There would be no use in that.

You're tellin' me. Others don't follow that idea, but I guess I can understand it. They feel like punishin' themselves or somethin' else that sound stupid. How are you and Al doin'?

I suppose Al's been doing a bit worse then I have. Right now, I've been trying to keep him busy by having him search around the area, but I believe that will only work for so long.

Yeah, think he'll catch on after he doesn't find anythin'. You could keep sendin' him out by sayin' that Ru could be back. We don't know when they drop our friends back here. That might keep 'im busy for a while longer.

That's what I have been telling him, but I've still no idea how long he can remain patient when it involves Jr.

I don't wanna see that guy bored and upset. Maybe you could send him to the barrier. Tell him that if he makes 'nough racket, he could piss off the Malnosso.

Yeah. I just wish there was more we could do, but it's like the Malnosso have countered most things.

[She goes to pull her knives out of the tree, and starts returning them to their proper places in her outfit. Two up her sleeves, two in the flaps of her jacket, and two on her belt.]

There's got to be something that they've missed. Surly they couldn't have covered every angle. Maybe everyone has just been trying so hard to figure a way out of here that nobody has noticed it.

[She sits down on the ground, leaning her back against the now scarred trunk of the tree.]

[Duo watches the knives be put away.] Shame we're both taken. That was hot. Like a girl who looks after herself.

[He settles down near her with his own back to the tree.] Don't know. Maybe? There's been so many of us tryin' ta figure out a way out. We've tried different things. Don't know what we coulda missed. I can't help thinkin' there's a crack somewhere. There's always a crack, an oversight, a distracted guard. Somethin'!

The big question is, where is it? I'm telling you, there's got to be something that we're overlooking. Something obvious perhaps that's right in front of our faces.

No idea. I've tried walkin' the entire thing, but that was only for what I could reach. It goes into the ground apparently. I know that much. It also goes all the way up or someone who can fly woulda already gotten out. Maybe we should just walk up and say open.

Depends which section of the barrier we go to, but I suppose it wouldn't hurt. At the very least it will give us something to do.
