I've been trying not to think about it, but it feels like I keep getting reminded, and slowly, I'm starting to believe that he's not coming back. I suppose I'll have to face that idea more later, but for now, I really don't want to, and so I won't.

With the weather getting warmer, doesn't anyone think we should do something fun? I really think it wouldn't be a bad idea to figure something out, though I'm hardly sure what might be a good plan.

[And the Doctor is hanging out in front of the house. Just kind of chilling out on the porch.]

[It doesn't really take long for Jenny to get there, considering she wasn't very far, and she waves when she sees him.]

Hey! I assume you're ready to go then?

Ready when you are. [He hops down the steps, just jumping over them all in one shot. He's pretty boss like that.]

Which way?

Towards the mountains. I've got to make my rounds through the caves up there. We can chat on the way.

That works. [He slides his hands in his pockets as he starts walking.] You feeling better?

[She starts walking with him.]

Now that those drums are out of my head, much better, though I should probably let a friend of mine know that all is well again too.

[And he looks at her curiously.]

Oh, and who might that be?

Cloud. He heard me over the journal when I got back from my kidnapping, so naturally, he found out about what was going on a bit. But I trust him, so I'd rather it be him then someone else.

[He looks a little hesitant.] ...How much does he know, already?

Not a whole lot, promise, but I'd really like to be able to fill him in the rest of the way.

[The look of reluctance doesn't waver.]

What is it you want to fill him in on, exactly? I'm not sure I'm alright with important - and somewhat personal - information being divulged to complete strangers.

I'm not going to tell him everything, but I atleast want to fill him in on this whole Master situation a bit.

[Oh yeah, that's not a happy face. He is deep in thought as he considers this.]

...Fine. Just - it's all right to be a little vague. So long as he does keep to himself, I don't see too much of a problem, I suppose.

If I ask him not to get involved, then he won't. Not unless he's asked anyway. He's just that kind of guy. Even he has situations he doesn't want people getting involved in after all, so he'll completely understand.

Well.... [He blows out a buff of air to get his fringe out of his eyes.] If that's the case, then go right on ahead.

[She smiles at him this time.] Thanks.

[And suddenly, she runs ahead of him a little bit.] So, ready to run now?

Just like old times! [And he's smiling now too, as he takes off to catch up.]

Where to now?

As I told you before, we're heading to the mountains, and at some point I'm going to have to make my way out into the desert. I want to make sure the ruins haven't been in use lately.

Ruins? [Perks up.] Oh, I like the sound of this. Been a while since I've properly explored anywhere.

Don't tell me you've gone out that far alone.

Of course I have. The journey goes faster when I go alone.

Jenny! Do you've any idea how dangerous that is? What if something happens? What if they get you while you're out there?

[Okay, he regains his composure.]

No, no, I'm sorry. It's alright. I suppose I'm just... Not used to the idea of you adventuring off on your own?

Blimey.

Really, I'm sorry for sounding so dodgy. You've got a lot of experience put in so few years. Sometimes I forget that.

[Pause. He's still running alongside her, but he looks thoughtful.]

I'm still allowed to worry, though, yes?

[Whew, she was afraid she was going to argue with him for a minute there.]
